Stripes

Very casual look today: a striped shirt over a red sweater, blue jeans and a knit scarf.

Black with Flowers

Here I'm experimenting with mixing prints. Both skirt and scarf are prints of beige flowers on a black background; the skirt flowers are large and somewhat random in color while the scarf flowers are tiny and uniform. Also, a white T shirt and beige blazer with 3/4 length sleeves. The beige of this jacket is rather subdued. I think a brighter beige would work better but this is all I've got.

Red White and Black

A red boyfriend sweater over a short-sleeved white button-down shirt; black pants; patterned scarf. The light from the window is so interesting; I'm letting it wash out half my face.

Red over Beige with Blue

You've seen this red Evie sweater before. Today I've got on a long-sleeved beige polo with a blue patterned scarf. A pair of blue jeans forms the base.

Black and Gray

Today I've got on a short gray skirt with gray hose and knee-high boots; a black polo shirt under a black blazer, and a striped scarf.

Red and Beige

Here's a lovely wrap sweater, deep red, with an interesting collar that I don't know how to describe. Not a shawl collar or a v-neck; there is a fair amount of fabric gathered up there which does not fold over the way a shawl collar would. Anyway, I'm wearing it with a beige camisole and beige pants.

Black and Gray

I'm wearing black pants exclusively these days as I can't find my beige ones. They might all be in the mending pile. Tonight I've topped my pants with a black wrap sweater layered over a gray camisole top. I'm wearing a black and gray scarf that I purchased at the Dollar Store, and I'm showing off my red fingernails.

Black with Polka Dots

A black ribbed knit sweater, 3/4 length sleeves, with polka dot silk collar and cuffs. Black pants and clunky black shoes. Pearl earrings and necklace reiterate the 'dots' theme.

Beige Beige/Black Black

Black pants, beige suede-like shirt, worn over a shirt of very fine gingham, beige and black, with 3/4 sleeves. Not a very colorful look today but that's fine. I've got to make myself some more accessories that are not scarves -- some kind of ruffle on a chain would be great.

Beige with Jeans and Scarf

Fitted beige jacket, blue jeans, silky red scarf of my own making (I'm having so much fun making these scarves) and brightly colored L.L. Bean shoes!

Red and Black

I love this red jacket, made by G-2000. It's very nicely made, obviously high quality. I got it at the thrift store on their 99cent sale day. Also have on black scarf and black pants.

Beige with Jeans and a Scarf

Blue jeans, with a long short sleeved beige sweater worn over a white t shirt. I could have belted this sweater but I chose to wear a big ol' scarf instead, which I have tied Boy Scout style.

Black and Gray

Here is a very interesting Chinese peasant style shirt. It's dress length, made of black linen with gray silk panels in the sides and sleeves. It's got long ties that wrap around the waist and tie in the back. I'm wearing it over skinny black pants and clunky black shoes. I am wearing no accessories other than silver earrings so as not to detract from the unusual styling of the shirt. That's my exercise ball behind me. It has sprung a slow leak and is getting smaller by the minute.

Black White Red Beige

(What horrible hair!) I'm wearing four of my six colors today. Black blazer -- fitted, with a little buckle in the back, white polo, beige jeans, with a cool knitted red scarf.

White Flowers on Black

Black pants, black shirt, over a lacy black shirt with white flowers. This outfit is crying out for accessories! I meant to wear a scarf but left the house w/o. Boring boring boring. I found a really cool necklace on Etsy that I will attempt to copy -- ruffled silk on a chain. It would look pretty cool with this.

Blue and Gray

Today I'm wearing gray pants, long blue polo, gray and blue plaid short fleece jacket, with patterned scarf. The pants are a bit too fat and short. I won't be keeping them. I love this fleece jacket and have had it forever. Perhaps it's a tad too big for me, though? It looks kinda baggy.
